Peak Power has
one of the leading olympic weightlifting facilities in Canada with
it's worldclass equipment and coaching. Peak Power's Weightlifting
programs are designed in a progressive manner to ensure people develop
optimal technique and skills in olympic weightlifting.
Introductory
Weightlifting Clinics
- Introduce olympic weightlifting to beginners with limited or
no prior experience.
- Learn basic techniques involved with the Snatch and Clean &
Jerk.
- Learn supplementary exercises to improve technique.
- 2/4 hour training and instructional clinic.
- Session 1 - Snatch
- Session 2 - Clean & Jerk.
Novice Weightlifting (Class 3, Class 4 and Novice Standards)
- Best for
people with 1-2+ months of olympic weightlifting experience.
- Periodized
training program for achieving optimal gains and progressions.
- Emphasis
on technical refinements and developing optimal strength and power.
- 12 week program.
- Three 90
minute sessions per week.
Elite Weightlifting
(Elite, Class 1 and Class 2 Standards)
- Program for
people striving to lift maximal weights in powerful, technically
efficient manners.
- Customized
periodized training program designed around each individual's
personal goals.
- 12 week program.
- Three 90
minute sessions per week.
High School Weightlifting Clinics
- Training clinics for small and large groups are available.
- Clinic can be customized to suit the needs and goals of the
group.

Weightlifting Seminars
- Lecture / Applied based seminar designed to train people how
to teach olympic weightlifting to their athletes / clients.
- Designed for coaches and trainers wishing to enhance their knowledge
