Hockey Power

Our hockey camps have proven themselves with hundreds of players and have been in operation since 1997. Our experience has shown that the best athletes make the best hockey players. Our cutting edge programs focus on enhancing your athletic abilities to improve on-ice performance and injury prevention.

LEARN.TRAIN.ACHIEVE:

Learn: how to train safely, effectively and efficiently
Train: with a program designed to meet the demands of your level of hockey
Achieve: with confidence; faster, stronger and more powerful

PERIODIZATION TRAINING:

Every player who trains with us begins with our professional fitness assessment to determine your strengths and weaknesses as a player. This also allows us to monitor your progress throughout the program. After completing testing, you can choose between a 3-day and a 5-day per week program at our facility training with our expert coaches. If you live out of town, you can simply sign up for our web-based individual coaching, access your program via our interactive website, and train wherever is convenient for you. Check out the brochure for more details!

What has made our programs successful is the "complete" model approach we use to train athletes with continuous monitoring. All programs include developmentally appropriate strength training, aerobic development in addition to speed and agility. Our model promotes the greatest gains in aerobic conditioning, strength, speed, and agility. Periodization programming reduces overtraining, injury, and burnout.

This type of training is used by elite teams, such as NCAA, University and Pro teams. Our facilities are designed to accommodate sport specific training for both power and endurance athletes. We have "Gold Standard" training and testing equipment (our Lab is capable of testing all protocols for NHL entry draft testing). The Physiology Lab is used to individualize training to maximize efficiency. It's the only facility in Western-Canada that has an exclusive Physiology Lab for testing athletes (VO2max, Wingate, Critical Power, Flexibility and Body Composition…etc). By beginning this type of training now, it will not only improve your current performance but prepare you for higher levels if choose to pursue them.

Do you want to bring enhanced explosive power, first step quickness, dynamic balance, core stability, rotational power, and maximal functional strength into your next season?

If so, then your only training choice is Peak Power.
